Privacy Policy — Threshyr Edu

Only what you type in yourself. Threshyr Edu saves the following on your device:

• Courses you create — title, instructor name, and start and end dates.
• Tasks on your kanban board — title, type, due date, and status.
• Time entries — the study time you record with the built-in timer or enter by hand.
• Your app settings.

That is the complete list. Threshyr Edu does not watch your active window, read app names or window titles, read your browser tabs or web addresses, or count your keystrokes, clicks, mouse movements, or scrolls. It runs no categorisation or AI engine. It asks for no Accessibility, Automation, or Screen Recording permissions.

All of it lives in a single database file named threshyr.db, inside Threshyr Edu's own data folder on your machine. On macOS that is:

~/Library/Containers/com.affanbajwa.threshyr.edu/Data/Library/Application Support/Threshyr-Edu/

On Windows it is the Threshyr-Edu folder in your user account's application data. Nothing is copied anywhere else.

To delete your data, delete that file, or simply delete the app: removing Threshyr Edu removes its database with it. There is no copy on a server for us to hold, because there is no server.

• No account, sign-up, email address, or payment is required.
• No cloud, no sync, and no servers of ours involved at all.
• No analytics and no telemetry of any kind.
• No advertising, and no third-party SDKs bundled in the app.
• We never sell or share your data, because we never receive it.

Threshyr Edu makes no network connections. It sends no daily active user ping, no crash reports, and no usage statistics. It does not even check for updates itself — updates are delivered entirely outside the app by the store you installed it from, such as the Mac App Store on macOS.

Threshyr Edu is a general study tool and is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects nothing and transmits nothing, no information is collected from anyone who uses it, at any age.

If Threshyr Edu ever changes how it handles data, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above.
